Notes for Sunday SC 2021-08-01

SPEAKER:

  • James Eutsler
  • Angie Perry

SCRIPTURES USED:

  • John 15:1-13, Jeremiah 38-39, James 4:6-8, Hebrews 12:1-2, JOhn 3:30, John 11-12, Proverbs 3:3-5,

SUBJECT/NOTES:

  • Freedom is one choice away everyday for everyone! Allow Christ to be your Lord, submit unto him and you’ll get that freedom.
  • God’s grace is sufficient for all.
  • To have the joy of the Lord is a choice you make. If you are separated from the Lord and his joy it is only your fault. Do you want the good things of the Lord for you and those you come into contact with. God is good and he want to manifest his goodness to all.
  • You have nothing to offer anyone outside of Christ. In him you will bring forth much fruit.
  • The grace is here for you to learn and get it right with the Lord, grace will not always be available.
  • The joy you get to partake of is the Lord’s joy and there is nothing like it, nothing is greater. The Lord wants your joy to be full.
  • If you are Christ’s you should bring the things of the Lord to others in love. The Lord wants people to stand up in him, and walk in his love. His love is all about the person in front of you.
  • Take your place in the body, that ye bare much fruit, and others will know they can come to you.
  • The joy of the Lord is the fuel that makes it possible to endure to the end.
  • The body of Christ is made up of different members, and different members require certain things to be made whole and accomplish tasks given them, trust the Lord knows exactly what you need at every turn to go forward in him. He is the one who searches hearts and knows them.
  • If you are not in Christ, you have nothing to offer anyone else.
  • You witness something, what are you going to witness? Are you going to show others what it is to believe God?
  • How has Christ loved you? You are to love others the same way. Christ loves you even when you are unloveable.
  • How much are you about you? You will not decrease unless you allow the Lord to increase. Get your eyes off you and put them on the Lord.
  • The trials and tribulations we go through if we pass through them trusting the Lord, will bear fruit. Your faith being made stronger, isn’t that worth it?

  • Linda Hanger
  • Phillip Walthall
  • Megan Atherton

SCRIPTURES USED:

  • Psalm 37:4, Job 39

SUBJECT:

  • Delight yourself in the Lord, all your desire is for Him and there’s a joy like no other.
  • Ask the Lord for you to be humble and know your place in His body and kingdom.
  • For to be a Christian our only safe place should be in Christ Jesus, we ought to be dwelling there all the time. Where do you put your safe place? If it’s anything other than Christ Jesus, it’s an absolute lie.
  • Put your trust in Him and He will bring you through anything situation or circumstance. He will bring you through if you allow Him and trust Him. Christ is well able.
  • You make it your delight to do His will. You lay aside your things, you lay down your life for Him.
  • The Bible is summarized in this: Love God first, delight yourself in Him, then love one another.
  • He loved us enough to leave Heaven.
  • You choose the fear of the Lord, you don’t feel the fear of the Lord.
  • What the Lord has for you is better than anything you could ever imagine. If you value your soul, you will delight yourself in Him.
  • How many times do you think you have to say, “I don’t want that from you,” to the Lord? It’s not even necessary that you say it, you show it with your actions. Today harden not your hearts.

  • James Eutsler
  • Phillip Walthall

SCRIPTURES USED:

  • Genesis 1:3-4, 1 Thessalonians 5, Hebrews 11, Matthew 6:31-34, Hebrews 13:17, Jeremiah 23:33-40, Matthew 11:30, Ezra, Nehemiah, Philippians 3:12-14,

SUBJECT/NOTES:

  • God created the light and separated it from the darkness, are you in the light or do you choose to be in darkness?
  • Do you really trust God, or do you fear the what if, the things you see or feel with your natural man?
  • The Lord is at hand, he is here. He’s given us people over us to guide and direct us to him, praise God for them.
  • Lift all things up to the Lord, nothing is too small to pray about.
  • Continue in the light, it is only a choice. God is light, choose to reside in him.
  • When you are in the Lord, nothing before us is a burden. Burdens and cares are of this world, God gives us everything you need to accomplish his will.
  • The Lord is a provider, he knows exactly what you need and if you will seek him first, he will supply all your needs. It boils down to, do you believe God?
  • Focus on today, you’re not promised tomorrow. The Lord has good things for his people, today. Trust the Lord, don’t fear.
  • The Lord has proven his burden is light and his yoke is easy, if you believe the Lord’s service is a burden it is because you are operating in your old man, not in Christ.
  • You should examine yourself to see how lightly you take the things of the Lord. Ask the Lord to show  you so you can turn unto him, repent and take him seriously. If you are taking God seriously your ministry would be vibrant.
  • When you choose to serve the Lord everything you need to serve him is there, strength, wisdom, all the good things of God.
  • God is bigger than the old man, it has no power over the Lord, in him there is only power and victory! Take God seriously, not yourself.

SPEAKER:

  • Corey Sweet
  • Carter Price
  • Phillip Walthall

SCRIPTURES USED:

  • Romans 5:1-5

Subject

  • Why have you been alienated? Because you wanted to. Your carnal mind will tell you everyone else is wrong, except you. When you choose not to listen to that, you can then put on the armor of God.
  • You need God, stop relying on your own carnal self.
  • Don’t let the fear take hold of you. The sound mind is knowing with a surety that Jesus is big enough to handle ANY situation or redeem a situation that has already happened.
  • Stop receiving and believing the spirit of fear, choose instead to walk by faith not by sight.
  • Who do you work for? It should be for Jesus Christ.
  • Our hope is Christ Jesus and in Him it is never disappointing. Lean on Him because you know He will not be a disappointment in anything you give to Him.
  • Christ has been the answer from the very beginning and will always be the answer to all things.
  • You have to be willing to receive that which the Lord wants you know and have.
  • How long it takes you to receive comes down to if you want Christ or not. Do you want to receive from Christ more than anything else?
  • Seek ye first is an action word, it’s something you do until you find it. If you find that you ask the Lord for things and you don’t get them, you need to go to the Lord and find out why you’re asking and not receiving.
  • Make the determination to serve the Lord first. It’s how you exercise yourself in faith, it’s how you show that what you have heard you’re walking.
  • Keywords: alienated, need God, fear take hold, spirit of fear, hope is Christ, willing to receive, seek ye first is an action, make determination to serve

SPEAKER:

  • Phillip Walthall

SCRIPTURES USED:

  • 2 Corinthians 13:1- 5, Hosea 8:12, Hosea 1:9-10, Hosea 2:16-23, Hosea 4:6, Ephesians 4:11-13, 1 John 1:5

SUBJECT/NOTES:

  • Examine yourself and see if ye be in the faith.
  • Do you find yourself conforming to the world rather than the word? It’s easy to compromise and follow after what the majority is doing. That doesn’t make it a right thing.
  • How do you examine yourself? Go to the light, let it shine on you to expose the darkness and to guide and direct your path.
  • Do you want to be right in your own mind, or do you want to be right? Go to the Lord and ask him to show you, guide and instruct you.
  • Being a reprobate is to reject and be rejected. Have you rejected God and his ways, his counsel, his judgement? There may come a time when he rejects you because you have rejected him.
  • Do you count the commandments of God as a strange thing, to love God and love one another?
  • Judgement is the thing that shows us where we are, if you be wrong, you then have the opportunity to turn unto the Lord and be right. It is a thing to go after, to rejoice in.
  • Everyone shall one day know he is God, when will it be for you? The Lord is long suffering and only wants the people to turn to him and love him, he gives every chance possible.
  • Do you know he is God? Are you his people? Is he your God?
  • Love is doing what is best for the person in front of you regardless of what it means for you.
  • Walk in the ways of the Lord, which the world sees as a strange thing so they can see the perfect will of God manifest and come to embrace his ways and walk in them themselves.
  • The Lord has set up a line of authority for your good, to get counsel and direction in walking in a right way. When you submit yourself unto his line of authority you get set free.
  • The Lord didn’t go through all he did here on earth and then die on the cross to keep his goodness from us, he did is to we could partake of it all, he wants to set you free. He would that none be lost.
  • Let go of the wrong way and get in the way of the Lord, the only right way. Receive the judgement and the mercy that follows, mercy always follows the receiving of judgement.
  • Christ is simple, let us fear going that wrong way, go to Christ who has paved the way for your salvation.
