Article X – The Law

We believe that the law is not for a righteous man, but rather was given as a schoolmaster to show the unbeliever that he is condemned to die and in need of a Saviour.1   The believer, by faith in the perfect sacrifice that Christ made, is redeemed, justified and set completely free from the curse of the law and death.2   Legalism, which is not of faith, but unbelief, is one of the greatest plagues to the Church and is to be rejected completely.3
