Have you over looked Acts where corporate worship is not only practiced but encouraged? If God is not everywhere, who then hears my prayers? Could it be that mankind tries too hard to bring God into this realm instead of man aspiring to be like God. "Be Holy for I am Holy." Might I suggest you purchasing a Greek/Hebrew Lexicon for a deeper study into the phrasing and meanings behind some of these words. To understand the Bible, we must understand the era in which it was written. Just as we need to understand where a biker (or any other sinner) is in order to reach him for Christ. I am sorry that your bitterness towards the church has tainted your life. In reading you pages, I sense anger, not love. It is written to correct in the spirit of love not condemnation. I will be praying for you. I think the greatest problem with the church is not keeping the Great Commission as the focal point of our mission. WE NEED TO GET BACK TO THE BASICS. I do agree with you on Eternal Security, somewhat agree on the pre-destination issue. But maybe we need to focus on gathering the harvest instead of seperating the chaff from the wheat. God Bless You Kev

RESPONSE:
Yes Kev, I do have a Greek/Hebrew Lexicon. I use it quite a bit. I guess it could be we see it differently too. Why don't you hang around a little while longer and nose around in the doctrine forum. Could be you would come to understand my point of view.

I'm an independent church planter together with my group are working full-time for the Lord and at the same time supporting ourselves to sustain the ministries that we received from Him. We need your prayers so that we can continue our church planting in my country. We need partners because we are now experiencing economic crises in the Philippines. We believe that God called us to do His will whatever the cost maybe. We will appreciate your response to my letter. Looking forward for this new friendship for His great cause! God's abundant blessings be with you always! In His Love

Hallelujah, the Almighty God is so great that I as a human come short of words to describe His Majesty. hello,in Gen 18:21,GOd coming down to see if what they'd done was as bad as the outcry he heard isnt to be taken literally. This is a figurative way of stating that God doesn't act out of ignorance or on the basis of mere complaints.

I enjoyed reading your comments on your site. As a new Christian being saved and baptised last October I of course have many questions, and unfortunately, the Church I went to dissolved and Pastor went back to the States (Where I live there are curches on every corner, and most of them have been turned into Pubs! Anyway, last week I went to a local service which on the sign outside stated Faith Christian Church, and the music was nice, the Pastor was very energetic, guest Preacher was excellent and full of good sound Bible teaching, until it started raining, and the Church got struck by lightning, and the Preacher said it was a sign, then the power was restored, then everyone started speaking in tongues (I'd never seen that, and I brought my sister who is a non-believer, and she was really freaked out, and then a call to the Altar was made and some poor guy wanted to be saved but instead of a Profession of Faith the Pastor told him "Not in English, The Holy Spirit speaks in another language, let us see you and hear you..) what a load of XX$##%%! Anyway, I'm still church shopping, and this Sunday I'm going to a Christian Church that is not Baptist, but still Independent, and I read their statement of Faith, and they certainly don't encourage all that gibberish, and I hope it works out for me and my children. What kind of church do you recommend (I was Roman Catholic, then went to United Church, then was Saved and went to a Fundamental Independent BAptist) tried the Charismatic Christians (not for me!)... Well. Thank you for sharing your website. It is so very interesting how the Lord works in everyday life isn't it? My husband and I have been tossing around the idea of a website to help minister to people and just from reading some of your guests comments I now know that is exactly what He wills for us to do. So thank you! There are so many lost out there and it is clear your doing your part to help. Keep up the day to day :)

I ran across your page entirely by accident, but was quite intrigued by your article on faith. Now that I've heard it that way, I don't think I will ever look at faith quite the same way. I was in the vehicle accident a year ago, and damaged my spinal cord. I know the Lord has every healed me according to 1 Peter 2:24. I'm standing on the Scripture, and now that I've read that article I know I'm on the right track. I was wondering, if you could please scan that picture for me.

I read with interest your explanation of certain scripture, or should I say interpretation of some beliefs. I do not attend 'church' at the moment, but associate with the beliefs of the Plymouth Brethren. I am a christian who smokes and drinks occasionally, which is one reason why I don't attend meetings. You really made sense on the smoking and drinking issues. I always felt guilty to smoke in front of other christians, but I don't really feel guilty in front of God. Anyways, I was just wondering if you've studied the beliefs of the plymouth brethren. Just wondering what you think. thanks

RESPONSE:

Hi Dave, thanks for the kind words. I got a real uplift from your message. I have always said if I can reach just one, this site will be worth it, and it is not one of the cheaper sites to lease. You are it I guess. Very few people realize the full potential of the liberty in Christ Jesus. The church will set the limits if you allow it. I guess you are now looking for a church, I haven't got the slightest suggestion as for a denomination. I have looked for years without success. Especially not knowing where you are.
I might can help in this way if you are truly hungry for God's word. There is a gentlemen in Los Angeles who has a Church and he keeps it online 24 hours a day. If you have Real player or Windows media player you can watch him with video or listen audio only to his archive messages. He has about every message he has ever preached for the last 20 years. I suggest you start listening about 1997 or so.
He is VERY different.
As far as I can tell he is right on. I don't agree with his teaching on Eph. chapter 1, none the less I believe he is God's chosen. Not many people even understand what God's chosen really is. I also recommend his teachings on the lost Tribes. His name is Dr. Gene Scott. His home page is: http://www.drgenescott.com/home.htm . His archive pages can be found at: http://www.drgenescott.com/thearchives.htm He also has a message that comes about every year at Easter time on the proof of the resurrection. No one can place a real argument against the resurrection after hearing it.
He is without doubt the largest TV. spiritual teacher on the planet and most people have never heard of him. This is because the Jimmy Swaggert's, and Jerry Fawells, have been very successful in keeping him off the commercial stations. He is on I think 3 different C-band satellites. If you remember C-band is tv received with the big 10' ugly dish that sits in the backyard and rotates. His message covers EVERY SQUARE INCH of the planet. If you have a tv and C-band receiver, and a generator, there is nowhere you can go that he can't be seen 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year long. The same goes for short wave radio. Also with world wide coverage. As well as on line 24 hours a day at the URL's above. I think for me personally I would rather tithe to him and listen to him here at home than hear someone tell me what I have to do to be qualified for salvation at a church somewhere.
Thanks for signing my book,   Mike Dill.   Oh yeah, PS. You have His Grace Dave. All you need now is His Faith.

In quick response I just wanted to say that, yes, I do know the proper definition of "cult" and have VERY extensive knowledge on the topic through much study. However, I was going by the use of the term as it is applied in general society and that is something which I should hope you very much do not want to be referred to as. It implies deliberate manipulation of the cult's members as well as ulterior motives on the part of the cult's leadership. I'm quite busy with work and my studies right now but I will be on your discussion area as soon as I can find the extra time. May God bless you and help each of us to see His Truth.

You said on one of your pages that God isn't going to fall off of his throne because someone starts questioning things. Very true. However, what you are failing to acknowledge is that you are doing this questioning on a VERY public forum which some non-Christians are going to read and that means that if your presumptions are wrong you could do A LOT of damage. 3 things I'd like to say to you in love: 1)You and your radio friend should reeeeeally do some in-depth studying of how to appropriately interpret scripture within its proper context. 2)From what I've read about how you came to all of these conclusions it was from the teachings of one man. Learning from one man alone is very dangerous and is how most cults get started (not to call you a cult I'm just trying to warn you). 3)Did you ever consider that perhaps its odd that out of the millions and millions of people that study the Bible you and only a few other people would stumble across these teachings? One of the first rudimentary rules taught by any theological school when it comes to scriptural interpretation is that if you've found something that NO ONE ELSE in history has ever found than you're probably interpreting wrong. I would like very much to discuss some of your beliefs with you via e-mail (particularly the one about God not being all-knowing since I believe I can show you the areas in which you did improper interpretation by not considering the context, etc.) Please email me and use my name Bill Janzen as the subject and I'll be glad to mail you back. Hope to hear from you. God Bless.

RESPONSE:
Dear Bill, Have you ever gone to Webster's dictionary and looked up the real definition of the word "cult"? If you choose to call us a cult I am flattered. The local Baptist church down the street is a cult by definition of the word. It is only when someone would try to label us as the "occult" that it would upset me. Now if you choose to discuss some of the material you have read here take it to the doctrine forum. I will be happy to discuss any thing you like. Thanks for signing my book.
