When did GOD first know you?
This teaching comes straight from Calvinism, after John Calvin's death. It has been around since the late 1500's and from France.
If I am able to make my point about predestination I am going to go around my elbow to get to my thumb. We are going to do something no one ever thinks to do. We are going to look at Paul's writing style. Gee, we never thought about it did we? We should Go to 1st Corinthians, Galatians, 1st Thessalonians, and Colossians. You will only have to read the first chapter or so of each book. For our purposes we are not interested in the content at all. Here Paul refers to two groups of people, he refers to one group as WE, OUR and US, and the other group as YOU, YE, and YOUR. We want to know who is who.
You can plainly see Paul is referring to himself and people in the ministry with him when he refers to WE, OUR, and US.. When he is speaking to the believer or the Church he refers to them as YOU, YE, and YOUR. I have no trouble showing this to people and them seeing it. So why do we today confuse things and put ourselves in the we's, our's, and us's. You say you don't do that? We shall see.
If you go into the traditional Church today they will teach you we are predestinated to be Christians at this point in time, where ever we are, in the church we are in. They get this from the famous predestination chapter, Ephesians, chapter 1. So lets go look at verses 1 through 14. Well! What did we see? WE, OUR, and US, YOU, YE, and YOUR. Can I prove what I am implying? Go to Ephesians chapter 3 verses 1 through 5, and then ask yourself, " who are the mysteries revealed to"? It is the apostles and prophets. Now go back to chapter 1 verse 9, and ask yourself," who is the US here"?
Most people in the Church today will not admit to this. They understand what I am saying, but they will stand firm and claim to be predestinated. After all it is a little flattering to think God knew me and predestinated me way back when.
Let me put it this way. There are three groups of people on this planet today. The elect of God, the seed of Adam, and the seed of Satan. There are not many examples of the seed of Satan in scripture. There was Cain, there was pharaoh of the old testament who held the Jews in bondage. There was Judas. There will be the false prophet, and the Antichrist. These people were meant to be from the beginning. In Jude chapter one we know there will be men ordained of old to disrupt the church.
Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. They were and are predestinated.
Go to the book of Jeremiah, chapter 1, and you will see that God tells that He knew Jeremiah before he was conceived, that He ordained him in the womb.
Jer 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
In the Gospel of John chapter 17:6
John 17:6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
Thine they were, what does this mean? At the very least it means God knew them before He gave them Jesus. They were meant to be, they were predestinated, this includes Judas, which we know from the old testament was prophesied to betray Jesus.
Is predestination real? The answer is YES, but not for the average pew warmer. After all, are we not creatures of free will? Of course we are. Then how can I be predestinated to be a thing and a creature of free will? I can't be both. Predestination is for the Elect of God, which are the apostles and prophets, and the seed of Satan, not the seed of Adam.
Think on this and pray for understanding. If you disagree I will listen
and consider your opinion
